We captured Beth and Nick’s beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony and reception at the luxurious Prestwold Hall, set in the heart of the Leicestershire Wolds.

They booked us for photography and film and it was one of our favourite weddings of the year- you’ll see why.

They got married on a Thursday and had around 60 guests, it was a lovely intimate day. Even though we were there to photograph and film Beth and Nick’s wedding day, we felt like we really knew all of their family and friends. Everyone was so warm and welcoming.

Bridal Prep at Prestwold Hall

A BEAUTIFUL WEDDING DAY AT THE ICONIC STATELY HOME, PRESTWOLD HALL.

When we arrived at Prestwold Hall, we immediately got the drone out to capture the beautiful exteriors of the wedding venue. Then we went up to the blue room to say hello to Beth and her getting ready team:

We then gathered up all the details, dress, flowers, perfume and invitations and set up near the best light in the honeymoon suite. Once the dress and the details were captured, we caught all the candid moments of the morning prep, right the way through to the big moment… walking down the aisle.

The rest of the day played out perfectly. Drinks and canapés were served on the perfectly landscaped grounds by the wonderful staff at Prestwold Hall. Dan and I captured the candid moments, family photographs and couples shoot, followed by their speeches, which took place in The Dining Room.
